MediaCore Video and Podcasting CMS

Simple Station designed, built, and marketed the Open Source project MediaCore from the ground up. The Open Source project site has been featured in many prestigious design showcases, and the project itself has been steadily gaining ground since launch in January, 2010. MediaCore is not only one of the best designed Open Source projects out there, but it is also one of the few projects utilizing Social Media as a major marketing tool.

MediaCore Video and Podcasting CMS

We created MediaCore to be the worlds first open-source video and podcasting distribution platform built on the Python TurboGears framework. MediaCore allows you to create your own personal YouTube experience right on your own site and aims to be to the video blogging world what Wordpress is to traditional blogging. There is both an administration interface and front-end component that can be integrated into any website.

Front-end for MediaCore Podcasting Platform

Our interface and interaction design for MediaCore features a sophisticated front-end interface to allow users to browse video, podcasts and sample a collection of the latest media added. It allows users to flip through videos in a dynamic way while also allowing them to view videos in a traditional YouTube grid format.

Seeker Search Engine Technology

Seeker Engine was designed for a technology startup doing interesting things with search technology. Our UI design sought to promote the power behind their search engine with bold visuals, while keeping things clean and straight forward.

CaseFinder was designed for the technology startup AuraByte. They created a product that automatically gathers case information for lawyers and generates data feeds that can inform any law firm of upcoming cases. We provided the branding, iconography, and user-interface design for their marketing website.

AhaBible was a design concept for a client who requested a prototype of what a 21st century Children's Online Bible would look and feel like. The design inspiration and interface that our concept detailed provided them with an expansive vision of how they might pursue presenting the Bible to a new generation.
