MediaCore is our own creation. It is the world's first open-source video and podcasting distribution platform. As a Content Management System, MediaCore allows you to build your own dynamic video experience right on your own site. Built on the Python Pylons framework, MediaCore has both an administration interface and front-end component that can be integrated into any website. Similar to what Wordpress is to traditional blogging, MediaCore aims to be for the media industry.

Our interface and interaction design for MediaCore features a sophisticated front-end interface allowing users to browse video and podcasts, and to sample a collection of the latest media added. Users can flip through videos in a dynamic way while also viewing videos in a traditional YouTube grid format.
